AmSouth Bank and Nashville Minority Business Center Host Executive Briefings
NASHVILLE, TN.-- The Nashville Minority Business Center (Nashville MBC)
and AmSouth Bank will hold a series of breakfast meetings for CEO's and
executives across the Middle Tennessee area to unveil preliminary
activities planned for the 20th Annual Minority Enterprise Development
Week (MEDWEEK) Business Conference, slated September 30- October 6,
2002.
"These briefings help our corporate community better understand the
importance of MEDWeek and the impact that the inclusion of minority and
women-owned businesses have on the economy," says Marilyn Robinson,
executive director of the Nashville MBC.
"The entire week presents opportunities to learn new marketing
initiatives, develop potential business and network with successful
business executives in the area."
Nashville Mayor Bill Purcell, honorary chairperson for this year's
MEDWeek, is encouraging both corporate and community participation to
ensure the event is successful. "Mayor Purcell is committed to making
MEDWeek a tremendous success," says Robinson.
